Wide Band Systems products and systems are employed by global defense forces on virtually every continent—in the air, on the land, and on or under the sea. About Our History
Wide Band Systems was founded in 1992 by William Sullivan in response to a need for Microwave receivers from the US Navy and the Japanese Ministry of Defense. The company was founded on the premise of unique technology, superior customer service and the willingness to get the job done. It was incorporated in the State of New Jersey shortly thereafter and began full operation in 1993. Originally located in Franklin, NJ in a 5,000 Sq. Ft. warehouse with five people Wide Band delivered Digital Frequency Discriminators to Japan and Taiwan. In 1996, with a workforce of 14, the company was moved to its current 10,000 Sq. Ft. stand-alone location in Rockaway, NJ to better support an expanding customer base and a growing product line. In 2004 Wide Band received its certification as an ISO 9001:2000 for the “Design, Manufacture, and Supply of Commercial and Military Electronics”. This certification has been renewed multiple times and is current until September 2018. Currently, Wide Band Systems, employs 19 people from engineers to designers to assemblers to technicians and administrative support staff. It holds multiple US patents on its unique processing technology and signal analysis. We are continually looking at improving our products, workforce training, testing & assembly techniques and expanding our line Over the past 20 years, Wide Band has increased its customer base to where it now has products in Japan, Taiwan, South Korea, Singapore, the United Kingdom, Belgium (ESA), Australia, Turkey, Brazil, Peru as well as throughout the Defense industry here in the US.
